![]() Under The Never Sky is a nice read that draws you in with it's exciting twists and turns, leaving you out of your mind to turn the page. I believe that the setting is cool and the plot was well thought-out. However, this book is not terrible compared to the others it is competing against in the same category. There is minimal language, and the violence was not too bad, though there were a few somewhat graphic/bloody death and maiming scenes. The period scene was, admittedly, uncomfortable, but it was not unreasonable. Other than that scene, the romance was reasonable. ![]() This being said, I tore out that scene in the book and burned it. ![]() I was somewhat sensitive to bad content at the time, and I still do not approve of blatant inappropriateness. Though described as "vague" by the reviewers, there is a sex scene that I was able to understand clear as crystal when I was only 13 years old (when I read this book). However, the romance and inappropriate content seemed to get the upper hand over my interest in the book overall. ![]() This book seemed interesting based on the cover summary and first several chapters, and the setting is quite a cool concept. ![]()
